Hospital and doctor waiting areas always seem to be in use. Coordinating maintenance to spot re-lamp one of 12-15 luminaires every month can be exhausting and very expensive. Operating 24 hours a day for over 5 years without requiring re-lamping lead to huge maintenance savings.
Lighting over patient beds can make patients extremely uncomfortable; excessive glare, leading to light sensitivity, can adversely affect their recovery. Elite LED luminaires are dimmable. Down to 15% when standard wall dimming controls are used. Specify a control with low end adjustments and Elite’s LEDs can be dimmed down to 5%.
